Plans
Automatic Delivery
All F. Ray Moore Oil Company, Inc. propane customers
are placed on an automatic delivery schedule and our drivers visit your
house regularly to fill your tank. You never have to worry about the amount
of gas in your tank. Your usage is monitored at each delivery and, if we
find that you are using more propane than average on a regular basis, we
will either switch your delivery schedule to monitor your tank more often or
upgrade the size of your storage tank. We back this up with a
“No Hassle
Guarantee” of up to $100.00 credit on
your account and no delivery charge if you run out
and have to call us for a delivery.
Payment Plans
The list below is a brief description or the payment
tools that we offer our customers. For further details call our office.
Budget Payment Plan – This plan runs a full year
allowing you to have a monthly payment that we determine by estimating your
annual usage. The twelfth month is a settle up month when any balance due
would need to be paid or an overpayment can be refunded.
Cap Option Plan – Our Moore PIP (Price Insurance
Plan) allows you to lock in the highest rate per gallon that you will pay
for propane during the winter. This plan allows you peace of mind about
high prices while allowing you to benefit from any drop in prices during the
program period. There is a minimum up-front charge to cap (or lock in) your
price.
Cash Discount – We offer a
5¢ per gallon discount for cash payments received within ten business days
of your delivery.
In order to keep our cost low so we can better serve
you, we have a credit and collections policy. We understand that at times
every account and situation is different, so we use these guidelines to
assist us in a uniform collection process.
Each new customer completes a credit application and
receives credit approval prior to installation. All amounts are due within
30 days from the date of delivery or service. When a delivery is made you
will be left a delivery ticket, or if requested, it will be mailed to you.
You can pay your bill by mailing it in the return envelope provided at the
delivery. Statements will only be mailed at the end of each month if a
balance exists on the account. Payments can be made at our office, by mail,
or to the driver when a delivery is made. If payment is made within 10
calendar days of the delivery date, you can receive a 5¢ per gallon
discount.
If you are experiencing difficulty in paying your
bill on time, please contact our office. We want to work with each and
every customer that wants to do business with us. We can set up a mutually
acceptable plan to catch up your account while we continue to service your
propane needs.
If a payment is not received at the end of the 30 days,
accounts may be subject to gas deliveries being discontinued or service
terminated. We will mail late notices for any balances past due. As a last
resort, we may take other action to collect the debt.
Propane Tanks
Underground Tanks - Underground propane tank
service is becoming a more attractive option for our customers that would
rather not see a propane tank in their yard or have residential zoning or
geographic constraints. Please call our office if you are interested in an
underground tank option.
Tank Rent- We do not charge tank rent on any of
our loaned tanks over 123 gallons. We have a progressive rent schedule for
tanks of 123 gallons and smaller. The tank rental fee is waived if the
customer uses more than 300 gallons in a year.
Tank Wash Program – During the winter months our
drivers make a note of tanks that need washing, painting, or leveling.
During the spring and summer we perform this maintenance as our schedule
permits. If your tank is in need of washing, painting, or leveling, please
give us a call so we can be sure it will be placed on our routine
maintenance schedule.
